A bibliography is an important element in writing scientific work which functions to identify the sources used in preparing an essay. According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary, a bibliography is a list that includes book titles, names of authors, publishers and other relevant information arranged alphabetically. Writing a bibliography not only functions as a reference source of information, but also as an appreciation for the author of the work used as a reference and as a way to maintain the professionalism of the author. This research uses a literature review method to analyze existing theories regarding bibliography, by collecting data from books, scientific journals and related articles taken from various databases, such as Google Scholar and Sinta Kemdikbud. This research reveals that bibliography has several functions, including strengthening arguments in scientific works, providing direction for readers who wish to check sources further, and maintaining the integrity and credibility of written works. Apart from that, this research also highlights the importance of a proper understanding of the elements that must be included in writing a bibliography, such as author's name, title, year of publication, and other publication information. Thus, writing a good bibliography is an indicator of professionalism and quality in scientific writing.
Verdianto VerdiantoMohamad Muspawi

Teachers are educators who are the spearhead of a school's success in achieving its vision and mission. To achieve this, an analysis of motivation, competence, and the work environment that impacts changes in teacher performance at MA YSPIS Gandrirojo needs to be conducted. The study population involves all teachers at MA YSPIS Gandrirojo. Saturated sampling was used as the sampling technique with a total of 56 teachers. Multiple linear regression analysis serves as the analytical technique used in this study. The findings of this study indicate that the variables of motivation, competence, and work environment partially have a positive but insignificant relationship with the performance of teachers at MA YSPIS Rembang. The determination test shows that 22.8% of the variation in the performance of MA YSPIS Gandrirojo teachers can be explained by the variation of the three independent variables, namely motivation, competence, and work environment. Meanwhile, the remaining 77.2% is caused by other factors that were not examined in this study. The three factors studied are capable of improving teacher performance but are not the main factors in its enhancement, so the relevant management needs to implement strategies that encompass other factors that may impact teacher performance.
Rizka Oktavia Yunia PutriMuhammad Tahwin

This article examines the historiography of Islamic leadership from the perspective of Fred M. Donner and its relevance to Islamic education. Through his works, Donner offers a new perspective that significantly contributes to Islamic studies in general, as well as to the study of Islamic civilization and education, particularly in understanding the historiography of Islamic leadership. This study employs a library research approach with a historical perspective. The data collection method used is documentation, which involves reviewing and analyzing various primary and secondary sources related to Fred M. Donner’s thoughts on the historiography of Islamic leadership and its relevance to Islamic education. The findings reveal that Donner employs four main approaches in studying early Islamic history: the descriptive approach, source-critical approach, tradition criticism, and skeptical approach. Furthermore, according to Donner, there are five historiographical themes concerning leadership in Islam: the fitna (civil strife), sirah al-khulafa (biographies of the caliphs), Pre-Islamic Arabia, Pre-Islamic Iran, and riddah (apostasy wars). Donner’s historiographical approach exhibits several key characteristics that make it relevant to Islamic education: the importance of critical engagement with Islamic historical sources, the necessity of an interdisciplinary approach in Islamic studies, and the need to reconstruct the understanding of Islamic leadership.
Ahmad AsroniIndriyani Ma’rifah
