Abstract

Objective: This study aims to analyze the integration of the learning organization and knowledge ecology concepts within the Islamic boarding school (pesantren) education system and to identify the roles of these two concepts in enhancing learning quality, knowledge management, and institutional development at Daarul Falah Islamic Boarding School, Serang. This study is motivated by the need for the transformation of pesantren education to adapt to social changes, technological advancements, and societal demands while maintaining the Islamic values that constitute its fundamental identity. Method: This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis related to learning processes, institutional management, and knowledge-sharing activities within the pesantren. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and thematic conclusion drawing. Results: The findings reveal that the integration of learning organization and knowledge ecology has been implemented through a culture of continuous learning, collaboration among pesantren stakeholders, the strengthening of learning communities, and the utilization of knowledge networks involving students (santri), teachers (ustaz), alumni, and the wider community.
