TRANSFORMASI KELEMBAGAAN PESANTREN MELALUI PENDEKATAN LEARNING ORGANIZATION DAN KNOWLADGE ECOLOGY

This study aims to analyze the institutional transformation of *pesantren* (Islamic boarding schools) through the implementation of the Learning Organization and Knowledge Ecology approaches at Pondok Pesantren Modern Subulussalam Kresek, Tangerang. The research employs a qualitative case study design, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis involving school leadership, teachers, staff, and students. Data analysis was conducted using techniques of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of Learning Organization principles has not yet contributed to the development of a continuous learning culture, collaborative decision-making, human resource capacity building, or organizational adaptability. Conversely, the Knowledge Ecology approach has strengthened knowledge-sharing practices, fostered innovation, encouraged stakeholder collaboration, and optimized the use of digital technology in educational and administrative processes. These approaches have positively influenced institutional governance, educational quality, leadership development, and organizational sustainability. The study concludes that integrating the Learning Organization and Knowledge Ecology frameworks serves as an effective strategy for institutional transformation, enabling the *pesantren* to become an adaptive, innovative, and sustainable.
