Higher education institutions play a strategic role in developing academic cultures that are not only oriented toward scientific advancement but also toward environmental sustainability. In response to increasingly complex global challenges, universities are required to establish learning systems that enhance organizational capacity while fostering ecological awareness among academic communities. The concepts of learning organization and ecological knowledge have emerged as relevant approaches to promoting adaptive, innovative, and sustainable academic cultures. However, studies integrating these two concepts within the context of strengthening sustainability-based academic culture remain limited, particularly in Islamic higher education institutions. This study aims to analyze the role of learning organization and ecological knowledge in strengthening an academic culture based on environmental sustainability at Institut Shalahuddin Al-Ayyubi Tambun Bekasi. The study employs a qualitative approach using a library research method. Data were collected from various scholarly sources, including books, journal articles, academic documents, and previous studies related to learning organization, ecological knowledge, academic culture, and environmental sustainability.
