Abstract

Objective: This study analyzes the maintenance effectiveness of the Bagging machine at PT Pupuk Kujang Cikampek using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Six Big Losses, and proposes improvement recommendations. Methods: A quantitative descriptive approach was used. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review from May 2025 to April 2026. Availability, Performance, and Quality were calculated to determine OEE, while Six Big Losses, Fishbone Diagram, and 5W+1H were applied to identify root causes. Results: The average Availability, Performance, and Quality values were 93.88%, 69.13%, and 99.47%, producing an OEE of 64.48%, below the 85% world-class standard. The dominant losses were Reduced Speed Losses (35.18%) and Idling and Minor Stoppages (29.06%). Novelty: This study integrates OEE and Six Big Losses using one year of operational data to support preventive maintenance recommendations. These findings help prioritize maintenance actions to improve machine reliability, production continuity, and overall plant efficiency in practice.
