The rapid growth of Integrated Islamic School (SIT) models and new Islamic boarding schools with high fee structures stirs ongoing vital debates on the core path of Islamic learning in Indonesia. While meeting middle-class Muslim demand for enhanced learning quality, rising school fees prompt the commercialization of education, fostering deep exclusivity and social division. This paper examines these market practices with a critical eye and builds a fair model for financing management to promote educational equity. Using Qualitative Library Research with critical discourse analysis of fiscal rules and school policy literature, the study findings show that profit focus without strong moral social pledges shifts Islamic study from a shared public good to a private luxury asset type. Thus, this paper offers three base steps for fair fiscal plans: (1) setting a fair tiered fee scheme based on proven income ranks, (2) linking productive Ziswaf as a firm-run school trust fund to ensure equitable student financial support, and (3) shifting budget focus to substantially improving teaching skills (learning-first grants) over building outer looks. Lastly, Islamic school leaders must actively shift from ordinary fiscal clerks to social founders who match long-term money stability with broad access for needy groups.
