This study aims to examine the effects of work motivation, self-efficacy, and the learning environment on the work readiness of students at SMK Widya Praja Ungaran based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT). This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 136 students selected through probability sampling using the simple random sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires that met the validity and reliability requirements and were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings indicate that work motivation, self-efficacy, and the learning environment have positive and significant effects on students' work readiness, both partially and simultaneously. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square) of 0.912 indicates that 91.3% of the variance in work readiness is explained by work motivation, self-efficacy, and the learning environment, while the remaining 8.7% is explained by factors outside the research model. The novelty of this study lies in the application of Self-Determination Theory to explain that fulfilling the basic psychological needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness strengthens work motivation, self-efficacy, and learning environment support, thereby enhancing the work readiness of vocational high school students.
