ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PASSING MENGGUNAKAN KAKI BAGIAN DALAM PADA PEMAIN SEPAK BOLA TIM SMADRI FC

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the level of passing ability using the inside of the foot among SMADRI FC players. The study employed a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population and sample consisted of 22 players selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a passing skill test using the inside of the foot, which was assessed based on four aspects: initial stance, foot contact technique, passing direction accuracy, and final stance. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and ability categorization. The results showed that the overall passing ability using the inside of the foot among SMADRI FC players was categorized as poor, with a percentage of 40.91%. The mean scores for each aspect were 3.45 for initial stance, 3.23 for foot contact technique, 2.86 for passing direction accuracy, and 2.73 for final stance. These findings indicate that the players performed relatively better in the initial stance and foot contact technique aspects, while passing direction accuracy and final stance still require improvement. Therefore, more targeted and continuous training is needed, particularly to improve passing accuracy and follow-through movements, in order to enhance the players' overall passing skills.
