Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of madrasah heads in the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based learning innovations at MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The development of Artificial Intelligence technology has brought significant changes in the world of education, including in the learning process, preparation of teaching materials, assessments, and more effective and adaptive learning management. In this context, madrasah heads have a strategic role as educational leaders who are responsible for planning, organizing, mobilizing, and supervising various technology-based learning innovation programs. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method at MAN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving madrasah heads, teachers, education staff, students, and parties related to the development of AI-based learning. The results of the study show that madrasah heads have implemented various strategic policies in supporting the development of Artificial Intelligence-based learning innovations. These policies include the development of strategic partnerships with Mahardika Indonesia as a partner in AI competency development, strengthening teacher competencies through mentoring and training in the use of various AI platforms, providing and strengthening digital infrastructure in the form of computer laboratories.
