ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI PSIKOMOTORIK DALAM MEMBENTUK KEMANDIRIAN SISWA DI TK ISLAM DURROTUSSHIBYANBOGOR

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the development of psychomotor competence of students at Durrotusshibyan Islamic Kindergarten, Bogor, (2) describe the factors that support and inhibit students' psychomotor competence, and (3) analyze the role of psychomotor competence development in shaping students' independence. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach. The research subjects consisted of the principal, teachers, and students of group B1 of Durrotusshibyan Islamic Kindergarten, Bogor. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques, then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the development of psychomotor competence is carried out through learning activities that train motor skills, especially imitating patterns and habits of daily activities; (2) supporting factors include cooperation between schools and parents, habits of independent activities at home, and consistent training from teachers, while inhibiting factors include differences in the level of maturity of children's development, the habit of frequent assistance, high use of digital devices, and an overprotective family environment; (3) The development of psychomotor competencies plays a vital role in fostering student independence through increased physical abilities, fostering self-confidence, and fostering a sense of responsibility in everyday life.
