The integration of the Merdeka Curriculum and Islamic local content in integrated Islamic junior high schools often encounters operational challenges, such as overlapping materials and imbalanced student workloads. This study aims to critically analyze the principal's leadership strategies in planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum development to enhance the quality of education at SMP IT Nurul Iman. A qualitative approach with an exploratory case study design was employed, utilizing data collection methods such as in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, and curriculum documents. The findings reveal that the principal implemented a four-pillar model of adaptive leadership through the convergence of curriculum documents, the development of collaborative teaching modules, the reinforcement of character-building co-curricular activities, and a dual authentic assessment scheme. This managerial execution, accompanied by routine clinical supervision and periodic quality audits, was proven to increase students' academic achievement scores by 14% and maintain a 100% pass rate for Qur'an memorization. It is recommended that education departments and private educational institution administrators adopt this integrated curriculum engineering framework as a practical managerial guide for efficiently and sustainably achieving quality assurance in faith-based schools.
